Football really is a brutal game. Just when you think you’ve got things going your way, something like this happens.

It happened during the Philadelphia Eagles’ game against the Washington Redskins on Sunday. Eagles receiver Nelson Agholor went long over the middle and made a beautiful, one-handed catch off a perfect throw from Sam Bradford. And he kept hold of the ball, too, even when his helmet was ripped-off as he went to ground.

But then, on the very next play, Agholor circled behind the line of scrimmage and dropped an easy toss.
