A squirrel snuck on the field and delayed the Packers-Vikings game

An undergrad squirrel, probably taking a break from studying for finals at Wilson Library, broke university and NFL rules on Sunday when he snuck onto the field during the NFC North showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings which is, of course, being played at U of M’s TCF Bank Stadium.

On the bright side, the squirrel rushed for more yards than the Packers had during their three-game losing streak. Downside: The Packers defense was unable to catch him in order to start contract talks. Also, the squirrel picked a bad game to field crash, as Roger Goodell was in attendance on Sunday and quickly suspended the squirrel for excessive celebration and refusing to wear mandated Nike game attire.
