A huge new Star Wars LEGO set takes kids of all ages to a time before the Force awakened and when the Rebel Alliance was chilling on an ice planet.

A new "Star Wars" LEGO set has characters and vehicles from one of the most iconic scenes from "The Empire Strikes Back."

Out in May, “Assault on Hoth” (2,144 pieces, $249.99) allows fans to re-create the opening scenes of 1980’s The Empire Strikes Back at the Rebels’ Echo Base, before Imperial AT-ATs started trampling all over the place.

The building-block set comes with a base featuring modular wall and trench sections, an ion cannon with a pair of spring-loaded shooters that launch LEGO studs, a Snowspeeder, a speeder bike, a Wampa cave, an exploding power generator and 14 minifigures.

While quite a few characters have been in previous LEGO sets, many have improved facial features and extra details. Han Solo (with a Tauntaun) and Luke Skywalker are two main stars included, and toy lovers can also play with Toryn Farr, Rebel Officer (who looks a lot like John Ratzenberger’s Bern Derlin from the movie), pilots Wes Janson and Wedge Antilles, the droids K-3PO and R3-A2, five Rebel troopers, two Imperial Snowtroopers and a Wampa.
