The NFL yanked the officiating crew that erred in Sunday’s Arizona Cardinals-San Francisco 49ers game out of its prime time slot his week, according to multiple reports.

The crew headed by referee Pete Morelli was scheduled to officiate the Indianapolis Colts-Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday night. Pro Football Talk reported Tuesday that the crew has been re-assigned. The officials will work the New England Patriots vs. Philadelphia Eagles game at 4:25 pm ET, ESPN reported.

The NFL and the NFL Referees Association didn’t immediately return a messages left by USA TODAY Sports Tuesday morning.

Under Morelli’s watch on Sunday, the crew had a questionable roughing the passer call that went against the 49ers, missed a delay of game penalty and even lost track of downs at one point.

Both the 49ers and Cardinals criticized officials following the game, with 49ers center Alex Boone remarking "I thought those refs sucked."

“The officials were struggling mightily,” Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said after the game. “I mean, they can’t count to three.”
