Bristol Palin is expecting a baby girl.

The daughter of Sarah Palin revealed her baby's gender on Instagram, posting a shot of her baby bump with the caption, "7.5 months with my baby girl."

This will be the second child for Palin, 24, who announced her first pregnancy with son Tripp, now 6, during her mother's vice presidential run in 2008.

The Dancing with the Stars alum announced her pregnancy in June, shortly after abruptly canceling her wedding to U.S. Marine Dakota Meyer. Facing criticism, she blogged that her second child was "actually planned."

"Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn't go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on," she wrote.

Recently, Palin criticized young women's access to birth control in a new blog post.

"I know I'm the last to talk about birth control. (Two baby daddies right? LOLZ!)," she wrote. "But I am expecting a girl and do have a 14 year old sister and I would be so concerned for her going into a clinic and having something pretty serious put into her body."
