Total tab: $6.
That's how it goes when you dine with Anthony Bourdain, the host of CNN's Parts Unknown.
Bourdain was in Vietnam filming an episode for the eighth season of his culinary travelogue, known for its adventurous locales. Obama was visiting with Vietnamese leaders for a mission focused on trade and defense cooperation.
The restaurant, Bún chả Hương Liên north of Hanoi's old quarter, was decidedly utilitarian, with plastic stools and low tables. Obama dressed down for the occasion, removing his tie and jacket.

They had the specialty, bun cha, a dish of fried pork over rice noodles.
"The President's chopstick skills are on point," Bourdain posted on Instagram.
The episode will air in September, the White House said.
