Kyle Busch calls for more SAFER barriers after scary Truck Series crash

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Austin Theriault was airlifted from Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday night after crashing into a concrete wall at high speed. Tyler Reddick, Theriault’s teammate, made contact with Theriault and sent him into the outside wall, which was not protected with a SAFER barrier.

Theriault fortunately escaped the incident with relatively minor injuries and tweeted to fans early Sunday morning.

Kyle Busch, who broke his leg and foot in February after crashing into an unprotected wall at Daytona, hinted that Las Vegas needs to add SAFER barriers and sparred with fans who disagreed.
