Jose Mourinho refuses to shake rival manager's hand, throws medal into crowd after loss

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho really doesn’t like Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, and Wenger doesn’t like him. They haven’t exactly made a secret of it, either. The pair has spat publicly multiple times since Mourinho came into the league in 2004, and so far, Mourinho has come out on top in their head-to-head match ups.

That changed slightly on Sunday, when Arsenal’s Wenger claimed his first victory over Mourinho’s Chelsea in 13 matches against one another.

Naturally, Mourinho didn’t take it very well. After shaking each one of the Arsenal players’ hands, he orchestrated a perfect spin to avoid shaking Wenger’s hand. Not a coincidence, because this wasn’t the first time they’ve opted against shaking hands.

Then, he threw his runners-up medal into the crowd on the way out.

Then he had one final, parting shot. He jabbed at Arsenal’s “philosophy” of retaining possession and playing beautifully, which he suggested they didn’t do on Sunday.
