Boy's service dog poses for sweet photo in school yearbook

A Louisiana middle school allowed a 7th grader to have his service dog photographed for the school year book.

It’s not often you see a yearbook photo with a student holding a leash in her mouth, but a Louisiana middle school made an exception for a heart-warming reason this year.

When it came time for school photos, Good Hope Middle School in Louisiana, decided to ask 7th-grader Seph Ware if he wanted to have his service dog photographed for the school's yearbook, AL.com reported. For the past four years, Seph, who has a rare muscle disease called Duchenne muscular dystrophy, has taken his service dog, Presley, everywhere with him, even to class.

Seph’s mother, Lori Ware, told AL.com that her son said "why not," when the school asked if Presley could be featured alongside the other student's photos.

"Seph says that it took about 10 minutes to get Presley to look at the camera, and who knows how many shots," Ware told AL.com.

Ware shared a photo of the duo in the yearbook photo on Facebook last week and said: “Presley and Seph made the yearbook.”

Looking good, you two!
