87-year-old broadcasting legend Vin Scully will be back next year for his 67th season calling Dodgers baseball. Jimmy Kimmel announced the news during the Dodgers’ 4-1 win over the Cubs Friday.

Scully received a well-deserved ovation from fans at Dodgers Stadium.

UPDATE: On Saturday, Vin Scully said that 2016 will be his last season in the broadcast booth for the Dodgers.

“I would say realistically — I don’t want any headlines — but I would say next year would be the last one,” he said, joking, “How much longer can you go fooling people?”
