Bernie Sanders really doesn't like Henry Kissinger

We're not sure who Bernie Sanders' favorite secretary of State is, but we've got a pretty good sense of who is his least favorite.

Hillary Clinton has said positive words about Kissinger in the past, and he has of her, and when the topic came up at Thursday night's Democratic debate in Milwaukee, Sanders unloaded.

Kissinger was "one of the most destructive secretaries of State" in history, he said, and he was just getting started.

“I am proud to say that Henry Kissinger is not my friend," he added.

“Count me in as somebody who will not be listening to Henry Kissinger."

Clinton discussed Kissinger's role in opening up China and said it's important to seek out a wide range of opinions. Given that, would a President Sanders seek out the counsel of the famous foreign policy thinker?

We're pretty sure the answer is no.

"Not my kind of guy," Sanders said.

We can only wonder what the legions of Millennials backing Sanders' campaign thought about the extended disquisition on a diplomat who came to power about 25 years before many of them were born.
