When Jeremy Lin first showed up to play for the Charlotte Hornets security didn’t believe he was actually a real player. A few months later and things are going better for Lin. Much better.

On Friday night, he got the best of LeBron James — albeit only for a few seconds and Lin missed the 3-pointer — with a sweet step back.

The bench was so hyped, everyone on their feet. As stated before, it didn’t go in, but it was a solid move and you can bet he’ll be pulling that one out a lot.

The Hornets are sixth in the Eastern Conference 15 games into their season.
