Amber Heard submitted sworn declaration at Los Angles Superior Court on May 27, claiming husband Johnny Depp threw her cellphone at her during a fight Saturday, striking her cheek and eye. The judge issued a restraining order telling Depp to stay away from his estranged wife.

A judge has granted Amber Heard a temporary restraining order against Johnny Depp.

Heard filed a domestic violence restraining order against Depp on Friday, arriving at court in Los Angeles with her lawyer, Samantha Spector, "with photos showing various bruises ... she claims Depp inflicted various times during their marriage," according to TMZ and The Associated Press.

Heard said in a sworn declaration that Depp threw her cellphone at her during a fight Saturday, striking her cheek and eye. She also wrote that the actor pulled her hair, screamed at her and repeatedly hit her and violently grabbed her face. She said the actor was high and drunk when the incident occurred.

The Los Angeles Police Department could not confirm any such domestic violence occurred after officers visited the couple's downtown L.A. home on Saturday. Officer Aareon Jefferson read a statement to USA TODAY saying police responded to a radio call of domestic violence at an address on South Broadway. (Depp bought a loft at the address in 2007.)

Once at the scene, police interviewed "the person reporting,"  but the person did not insist on a police report, nor offer any evidence for such a report, and the responding officers did not think it warranted a report.

"Officers determined a crime did not occur. They cleared the scene and left a business card. LAPD cannot confirm reports that a restraining order was sought or obtained."

Heard submitted a picture of her bruised face when she applied for a restraining order Friday. The actress filed for divorce on Monday after 15 months of marriage.

When she arrived at court on Friday, dressed in black, there was some faint evidence of bruising on the right side of her face.

Amber Heard at Los Angeles Superior Court on May 27, 2016, after giving a sworn declaration that husband Johnny Depp threw a cellphone at her during a fight Saturday, striking her cheek and eye.

But TMZ reported Friday that Heard was tagged on Instagram showing a picture of her with two friends on Sunday, the day after the alleged attack, and there is no evidence of bruises in the picture.

On Friday afternoon, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carl H. Moor ordered Depp to stay 100 yards away from Heard until a hearing is conducted on June 17. The judge also ruled that Depp shouldn't try to contact Heard. Depp is currently in Portugal for a performance with his band Hollywood Vampires.

Heard's filing Friday alleged a history of abuse throughout her relationship with Depp, according to The Associated Press.

"During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me," Heard wrote. "I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him."

Heard said the actor was high and drunk when Saturday's alleged abuse occurred. "I live in fear that Johnny will return to (our house) unannounced to terrorize me, physically and emotionally," Heard wrote in a sworn declaration.

Heard's filing states the May fight was preceded by an incident in April in which the actor skipped her birthday party and showed up later high and drunk and pushed her to the floor. After that incident, Heard wrote she did not see the actor for another month.

Heard also submitted a declaration from a friend who wrote that she shot pictures of Heard's bruised face shortly after Depp left.

Moor rejected Heard's request that Depp attend a year's worth of anger management classes and the protective order extend to her dog, a Yorkshire terrier named Pistol. (The dog was one of two terriers the couple brought into Australia last year without proper quarantine paperwork, causing them embarrassment and legal trouble, and led to a humiliating video in which the duo apologized.)

In Heard's divorce filing she sought spousal support, and two days later, Depp's legal team responded with a 'no,' asking the judge to deny her request. Depp also requested that Heard pay her own attorney fees, according to court documents cited by The Associated Press.

"Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly," a rep for the actor told People in a statement on Thursday.

On Friday, Amber Heard went to court to ask for a restraining order against Johnny Depp.

Depp's lawyer is Laura Wasser, an A-list divorce lawyer-to-the-stars (such as Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom) who is known to be a tough negotiator. Heard's lawyer, Spector, is listed as a family-law specialist in Los Angeles. Both actors cited irreconcilable differences for the breakup.

Depp, 52, and Heard, 30, married in February 2015 in an intimate beach ceremony on Depp's private island in the Bahamas, one year after revealing they were engaged. They have no children together.

The former couple met on the set of the film The Rum Diary in 2009. At the time, Depp was still with his partner of 14 years and mother of his two children, Vanessa Paradis, and he later stated that his relationship with Heard did not begin until after he and Paradis separated in 2012.
