Ex-Thunder guard Reggie Jackson threw shade at his former team after the Game 7 loss

Detroit Pistons guard Reggie Jackson wasn’t exactly disappointed to see his former Oklahoma City teammates lose Game 7 to the Warriors.

Right after Steph Curry drained his dagger 3 in the final moments on Monday night, Jackson took a shot at the Thunder in a tweet with a single emoji.

Yeah, that smirk doesn’t express disappointment.

Jackson didn’t leave Oklahoma City on great terms. He celebrated his trade to Detroit in February 2015, saying that he was crying tears of joy.

Durant singled out Jackson after the trade, and it’s obvious that the Thunder haven’t reconciled differences with Jackson.

He said via USA TODAY Sports:

“I felt like everybody wanted to be here, except one guy. So it wasn’t like everybody was just going crazy at shoot-around. I went to sleep and woke up, and we had new players. It goes like that sometimes.”

Jackson expected an increased role with the Pistons, which was realized. He averaged 18.8 points this season in 30.7 minutes per game. But still, that’s a lot of shade to throw at a team that made the conference finals.
