NFLPA president Eric Winston rips NFL for handling of Laremy Tunsil

NFL Players Association president Eric Winston voiced his displeasure Friday with how the NFL handled the incidents surrounding Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil during the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday night.

Shortly before the draft began, a video of Tunsil using a bong and gas mask was posted to his Twitter account. Tunsil, who quickly became one of the draft's most discussed players, said after he slid to the No. 13 overall pick by the Miami Dolphins that his account was hacked.

Scrutiny on Tunsil increased after he was asked whether he took money from a coach while at Mississippi and responded, "I have to say yeah."

On Friday, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was asked about Tunsil's fall during an interview on ESPN Radio.

"I think it's all part of what makes the draft so exciting," Goodell said of Tunsil's fall. "Clubs make decisions. Sometimes they take risks. Sometimes they do the right things. Sometimes they don't, and we'll see. Hopefully he is going to turn out to be a great young player."
