'SNL' had us seeing double with Bernie Sanders and Larry David

Larry David started a string of conspiracy theories when he first appeared as his political doppelganger Bernie Sanders on Saturday Night Live, but those theories were finally put to rest when Sanders himself appeared in the same room with David.

Sanders was a natural onscreen (just look at his illustrious acting career) as the cranky 99 percenter next to David's cranky one percenter aboard a sinking Titanic. He schools David on democratic socialism and even throws in a "yuuuuge" for good measure.

It was the cameo we'd all been hoping for, especially after Sanders up and changed his Twitter avatar to Larry David right before SNL aired.

But not everyone was feeling the Bern, according to David's parody of his own show 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'
