Trump: No tax returns until audit is done

Donald Trump says he won't release his tax returns until an audit is completed, and he can't say when that might be.

"I have very big tax returns," Trump said on NBC's Meet the Press. "I'm sure you've seen the picture where the returns are literally from the floor to up to here. They're extremely complex."

It's standard procedure for presidential nominees to release tax returns.

Trump said he would "like to" release his records before the November general election, but only if "the auditors finish — I'll do it as fast as the auditors finish."

Trump said he has released some financial records.

"My financials show I'm worth more than $10 billion by any stretch of the imagination," Trump said. "Has tremendous cash. Tremendous cash flow. You don't learn much from tax returns. But I would love to give the tax returns. But I can't do it until I'm finished with the audit."
