Pirates acquire LHP J.A. Happ from Mariners: Pittsburgh sent minor league RHP Adrian Sampson to Seattle for the 32-year-old.

Cubs acquire RHP Dan Haren from Marlins: Chicago sends minor leaguers Ivan Pineyro and Elliot Soto to Miami, adding the veteran right-hander who has a 3.42 ERA this season.

Blue Jays acquire RHP Mark Lowe from Mariners: Toronto bolstered its bullpen by sending prospects Nick Wells, Jacob Brentz and Rob Rasmussen to Seattle.

Cardinals acquire RHP Jonathan Broxton from Brewers: St. Louis sends prospect Malik Collymore to get the two-time All-Star reliever who has a 5.89 ERA in 40 games this season.

Orioles acquire OF Gerardo Parra from Brewers: Baltimore acquires the two-time Gold Glove winner in exchange for minor league pitcher Zach Davies.

Blue Jays acquire LHP David Price from Tigers: Days after adding another big bat, Toronto addressed their problematic rotation by landing the former Cy Young winner in exchange for pitchers Daniel Norris, Matt Boyd and Jairo Labourt.

Astros acquire OF Carlos Gomez and RHP Mike Fiers from Brewers: The Astros added another bat in the form of the 29-year-old, two-time All-Star in exchange for prospects Brett Phillips, Domingo Santana, Josh Hader and Adrian Houser.

Dodgers acquire LHP Alex Wood, RHP Mat Latos, 1B/OF Michael Morse and four others in 13-player, three-way trade with Braves, Marlins: The Dodgers take on a ton of salary, but don't have to give up much to add two impact starters.

Giants acquire RHP Mike Leake from Reds: San Francisco gears up for another postseason run by dealing prospects Keury Mella and Adam Duvall for the 27-year-old with a career 3.87 ERA.

Cardinals acquire 1B/OF Brandon Moss from Indians: With Matt Adams and Matt Holliday injured, St. Louis dealt prospect Rob Kaminsky for Moss, who averaged 25 home runs from 2012-2014.

Rangers acquire LHP Cole Hamels from Phillies in eight-player deal: Texas also got Jake Diekman from the Phillies in exchange for Jorge Alfaro, Jake Thompson, Nick Williams, Alec Asher, Jerad Eickhoff and Matt Harrison, in a deal which sees the Phillies eating a chunk of Hamels' salary.
