The Weeknd drops fiery 'Feel My Face' video

The Weeknd has released his video for Can't Feel My Face, premiering it via Apple Connect on Tuesday. Like his previous video for The Hills, it's sometimes troubling clip, full of fire and mayhem.

The video begins with The Weeknd performing the song in club, karaoke-style, in front of a completely disinterested audience. Well, almost completely disinterested: There's one woman in the place who seems to find him fascinating, as well as a gaunt man who clearly has evil on his mind.

The Weeknd tries out a couple of dance moves and dodges the occasional thrown drink. But it's not until the thin man lights up a cigarette then tosses the lighter at the singer, causing him to burst into flames, that the party really gets started.

Always nice to a performer willing to go that extra mile to get the crowd on its feet.

Can't Feel My Face will appear on The Weeknd's forthcoming album, Beauty Behind the Madness, out Aug. 28.
