They weren’t rivals (according to Kobe), but LeBron James and Kobe Bryant share a deep mutual respect that showed during the Laker legend’s final game in Cleveland on Wednesday night.

Before tip-off, the two hugged it out.

And they shared a moment as Kobe checked out of the game as the crowd stood and cheered.

For one play during the game, it almost felt exactly like old times as Kobe got the best of LeBron with a slick post move. The Cavs were the ones who won, though, 120-111.

Kobe and LeBron will play against each other in the All-Star Game on Sunday. And barring injuries to either of them, they’ll have one last matchup on March 10 in Los Angeles.
