The new Chuck Taylors will be on sale July 28.

Old-school Chucks are getting a high-tech makeover.

Converse debuted the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II shoes on Thursday, the first redesign of the iconic brand in 98 years. (Shoe collectors, you may now collectively gasp in horror and excitement.)

According to the release, the shoes keep the iconic Chuck Taylor style — "unique white foxing, rubber toe-cap and statement All Star patch," while also "dialing up consumer-led features and benefits to deliver a comfortable and versatile premium sneaker."

The Chuck IIs are produced by Nike, which bought the Converse brand in 2003.

They feature "innovative updates" like Nike Lunarlon sockliner ("for superior full foot cushioning and arch support"), a foam padded collar and non-slip gusseted tongue ("for 360-degree comfort") and a perforated micro suede liner ("for breathability during extended periods of wear").

Can't wait to get your hands on these? They'll be available July 28 in black, white, red and blue for a suggested price of $70 for low-top and $75 for high-top.
