The centerman grabbed a puck in the neutral zone and reset in the Sabres end before shimmying his way through the entire Avalanche contingent and blasting a patented wrister right past Semyon Varlamov.

Eichel’s goal opened scoring in the tilt and the Sabres’ stable of young offensive stars never took their foot off the gas, cruising to a 4-1 win over the Avalanche.
