Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods publicly announced their relationship on Facebook in March of 2013, but after more than two years together, the couple is splitting up. Vonn wrote in a Facebook post Sunday that she and Woods have “mutually decided” to end the relationship.

Woods issued a similar statement on his website.

“Lindsey and I have mutually decided to stop dating. I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsey and I’ll always cherish our time together. She has been amazing with Sam and Charlie and my entire family. Unfortunately, we lead very hectic lives and are both competing in demanding sports. It’s difficult to spend time together.”

Vonn recently accompanied Woods at the Masters, and walked the course during the par-3 contest with Woods’ children. Vonn, who has said that Woods is an “amazing father,” revealed that she actually doesn’t like golf during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Vonn has been a mainstay in the gallery at a number of tournaments that Woods has played in (including every major in 2013), and Woods has visited Vonn on the slopes after she made her triumphant return to skiing. Rumors swirled in February that the couple were planning a private wedding on Valentine’s Day, but they proved to be false.
