Black Friday sale brings savings on adventure cruises

Expedition cruise operator Hurtigruten is out with a Black Friday promotion that brings an additional 10% off already-discounted prices on voyages to Antarctica.

The week-long Black Friday Sale also brings discounts on Hurtigruten voyages along the coast of Norway. Repositioning cruises from Europe to Africa, across the Atlantic, and along the coast of South America also are being marked down during the promotion.

Norway-based Hurtigruten is best-known for its daily sailings up and down the coast of Norway on ferry-like vessels that serve both tourists on long-distance trips and locals moving between towns. The company also operates expedition-style cruise vessels that specialize in voyages to the Arctic and Antarctica.
