The NSYNC guys are really chill about losing their record to Adele

Aw, guys, remember this?

In addition to breaking our hearts, Adele's 25 has been breaking records all over the place. Since its release last Friday, it officially has the biggest sales week ever, breaking a record previously held by that classic 2000 record, No Strings Attached by the one and only NSYNC.

Now you might think that the men of the former boy band might be a little miffed about losing such a big record, but you'd be very wrong. Lance Bass, JC Chasez and Joey Fatone were all super chill about it.

Lance and JC spread the love on Twitter:

And Joey was pretty eloquent about the whole thing to Billboard:

“Records are always meant to be broken, but with technology and current music business model, I thought this one would be tough to beat. In all honesty, Adele is the truth — kinda excited a rare talent like hers is in the same breath as our group. I’m a huge fan….I even bought the damn album.”

No word from Justin Timberlake or Chris Kirkpatrick yet, but maybe the whole band can get back together and, we don't know, sing about this, or something.
