Best zingers from Supreme Court's gay marriage dissent

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

Oh snap.

Gay marriage, an issue that deeply divides America, also deeply divides the Supreme Court justices. And that divide was abundantly clear Friday in the dissent written by Justice Antonin Scalia.

The high court ruled 5-4 to legalize same-sex marriage across the USA. Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote the opinion. Scalia was not impressed. Take a scroll through Scalia's insults, illustrated with some tweets:

California: on the West Coast, but not Western, ya'll.

Majority does not equal democracy.

Prep for the polls: See who is running for president and compare where they stand on key issues in our Voter Guide

This is getting awkward.

Chief Justice John Roberts, too, had some choice words about what to celebrate today:

Where my hippies at? #AmIRight?!
