The Clemson Tigers staved off a late Notre Dame charge in a torrential downpour to upset the Fighting Irish Saturday night in South Carolina, and a bizarre technical mishap after the game interrupted Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney’s phenomenal interview on the field. Midway through Swinney’s passionate speech, the feed cut to the ESPN studio, where anchors Kevin Connors and Jay Harris had no idea they were on television.

ESPN said the mishap was due to a transmission error, and broadcast the full Swinney interview later Saturday night.
