Beyoncé came galloping over the nearest hill to attempt a save of an otherwise meh Super Bowl 50 halftime show, and nearly succeeded.

There were fireworks, a lot of leather, bullet belts, berets, and dancing on grass in heels which before tonight I didn’t think was possible.

She also briefly lost her balance and nearly fell, but you probably missed it because the way she incorporated it into the choreography was just about seamless.

I’d like to say something here about how the show should’ve just been Beyoncé, but I’d rather take this opportunity to launch the Future for Super Bowl 51 Halftime Show campaign.

Do the right thing, NFL. Make it happen.
