There’s been a lot of Internet ink spilled — many negative comments — over the Arizona Diamondbacks and their new uniforms, including a tweet from actor Rob Lowe.

So the team took the Jimmy Kimmel route and had players, staff members and the woman who helped design the new threads read and respond to mean tweets. That included reliever J.J. Putz shaving some facial hair in response to one criticism.
