Cristiano Ronaldo continually tries to sell us a bill of goods. He’s just a guy that happens to be otherworldly on a soccer pitch and outside of that, he puts on his skinny jeans one leg at a time and shaves regularly.

But just look at the guy. He’s so focused on and good to himself that you can’t measure him in real people years.

Now, we finally have incontrovertible PROOF that he can’t pass a mirror without admiring himself for an inordinate amount of time (probably). Not the multiple documentaries he’s had made about himself at several points during his (still active) career. Not the massive bronze statue of himself that he’s had erected (again, he’s still playing) in his hometown in Portugal.

No. This is better.

Cristiano Ronaldo sends his personal hair stylist to brush the hair on his wax replica in a Madrid museum once a month.

Yes. Seriously.

From ESPNFC:

“Cristiano told us to be sure his figure was perfect,” [communications director] Gonzalo Presa told Cadena Ser Catalunya. “He sent his own hairstylist to brush his figure once a month. Cristiano’s hair is natural. It is not a wig and it comes from India.”

It’s safe to assume that the same goes for the other waxwork of Ronaldo’s likeness, which is in his own museum in Madeira.  And that would be… just wow if true.

But when you’re the best in the world at something, I guess you’ve earned the right to this sort of thing.
