More deals offered for Cyber Monday

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — With Black Friday behind us, it's time for more heavily-hyped discount shopping for Cyber Monday.

More online sales will actually ring up Monday than during Friday's online shopping blitz, to the tune of $3 billion Monday, according to Adobe, which tracks online sales.

Target's Cyber Monday ad offers 15% off on Target.com

Retailers are keeping their best bargains to themselves until Sunday night, "because they don't want to scare off weekend shoppers," says Ben Glaser, features editor for Dealnews.

Many already-announced deals look to offer 10% to 15% off selected products. Target's Cyber Monday promotion is even bigger: 15% off nearly everything on the Target.com website.

Here’s what you need to know for Cyber Monday:

Amazon will begin offering Cyber Monday discounts Saturday, but has 10 "major" deals planned for Monday, which is historically Amazon’s busiest day of the year. These will be offered both on the computer website and mobile app, so be sure to check both. Amazon says last year, customers ordered more than 43 million items on Black Friday.

For Target and Best Buy, the best of the deals we’ve come across so far is for a new Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone.

Target will give you a $400 gift card if you trade in your old smartphone (of any manufacturer) and sign up for wireless service with the Galaxy, while Best Buy offers the same deal with a $300 gift card. The phone currently sells for $500-$600 on Amazon.

Finally, if you want to keep your job, don't forget to do a little work in-between all the shopping Monday!
