SAN FRANCISCO —Tech world veterans and newcomers alike will get access to some of the industry's brightest minds in a new USA TODAY event launching Sept. 29.

USA TODAY's Change Agents Live: How Much Disruption Do You Need to Succeed? | Ticketing Administration

The first "Change Agents Live" gathering, hosted by "Change Agents" column author Marco della Cava and San Francisco Bureau Chief Jon Swartz, will look to answer the question: how much does a new tech venture need to disrupt a given industry to succeed as a business idea?

Guests for the debut event are entrepreneurs Ron Johnson (Enjoy, formerly Apple, Target), Tristan Walker (Walker & Co. Brands, foursquare) and Meredith Perry (founder of uBeam wireless charging), as well as venture capitalist Shruti Gandhi (Array Ventures, formerly True Ventures, Samsung). Spurred by the two moderators, the panel will dig into the challenges and rewards facing innovators looking to create new business paradigms.

Ron Johnson is CEO of Enjoy, and was instrumental in the rollout of Apple's stores.
Shruti Gandhi is a managing partner at Array Ventures.

Tickets for the event, which will take place at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center in downtown San Francisco Tues. Sept 29 at 5:30 pm, cost $20, and can be purchased by clicking this link. USA TODAY will write about and film the event.
