Bernie Sanders confirms: 'I am Larry David'

At Wednesday night's Democratic town hall in New Hampshire, Bernie Sanders skipped the political posturing and attempted to win voters over by sticking to the facts.

"I am Larry David," he told moderator Anderson Cooper.

He confirmed that he and the comedian, who memorably played Bernie on SNL this season, are in fact the same person, after Cooper asked the Democratic presidential candidate to do his best David impression.

David (or should we say, Bernie) will reprise his white-haired, yell-talking, Brooklyn-accented performance when he hosts this Saturday's SNL.
