In the fifth inning of the Angels’ game against the Red Sox, Mike Trout went to steal third base but a throw from catcher Blake Swihart seemed to reach in time — except that Trout pulled out a slide reminiscent of Keanu Reeves’ moves in ‘The Matrix.’ He was called out, which is an understandable first call because logically that’s what would have happened in this situation.

A look at the replay however showed he was safe. The Angels went on to win the game, 12-5.
