Man tattoos #thedress on his leg

Usually when something goes viral on the Internet it fades quickly. But one man decided to make #thedress permanent by getting a tattoo on his leg.

Daniel Howland of Austin, Texas, is covered in tattoos, according to his Instagram photos. However, this one is certainly the most trendy — or rather trending. The tattoo features a blue and black dress with the words "White and Gold?"

"I thought it was funny that it upset a lot of people," the 24-year-old told ABC. "I had a spot on my leg I didn't care about."

He goes on to tell ABC, "People are saying it's the worst tattoo. It's really nowhere near that. It's actually a great tattoo. It's just dumb."
