Gatorade released a new ad on Tuesday celebrating Serena Williams’ journey to the top of the tennis world from the now-familiar story of her childhood in Compton, California to matching up against her sister on the big stage to struggling through some matches before proving everyone who thought she was finished wrong. The best comes near the end of the ad, when there’s a video of a young Williams being interviewed.

“If you were a tennis player, who would you want to be like?” the interviewer asked.

“Well,” she answers, smiling shyly, “I’d like other people to be like me.”

Williams, who is hoping to become the first woman to win the calendar Grand Slam in 27 years, took less than half an hour to win her first match at the US Open on Monday night.
