Microsoft unveils Xbox One Elite bundle

Microsoft is offering a huge storage upgrade with the launch of its next bundle for video game console Xbox One.

The Xbox One Elite bundle, which launches in November for $499.

The company announced it will launch the Xbox One Elite bundle in November. It will include a 1 TB solid state hybrid drive as well as the Elite wireless controller, which boasts interchangeable paddles and a variety of customization options.

The bundle will be available for $499.

Microsoft claims the new hard drive "stores frequently-accessed files on a solid state partition and optimizes system performance so you can get to the action up to 20 percent faster from energy-saving mode," according to a statement released Monday.

During its first month of availability, the bundle will only be available through Microsoft retail stores and video game retailer GameStop.
