Why the Seahawks should pay Kam Chancellor in six seconds

The Seattle Seahawks were up against it, holding on to a slender 13-10 lead over the Detroit Lions in the final two minutes of Monday night’s game. Matthew Stafford marched the Lions right into the red zone and it all looked lost when he found Calvin Johnson with a little breathing room less than five yards from the end zone.

Johnson turned, extended to break the plane inches from victory, and dun, dun-na-nahhhh in came Kam Chancellor to save the day, and in a way, the Seahawks’ season.

The Seahawks held on to win 13-10 and improve to 2-2.

Fun fact: the Seahawks also haven’t allowed an offensive touchdown since Kam Chancellor came back.

Lucky thing he followed his heart and walked back into the practice facility after eight weeks of holding out to get his contract restructured, huh?

Here’s a plan for the 2016 offseason: GIVE KAM CHANCELLOR ALL THE MONIES. His teammate Michael Bennett agrees.
