The Edge joins chef Mario Batali for a conversation on food and music in the new original series 'Feedback Kitchen.'

Celebrity chef Mario Batali sets the table for Dailymotion's first entry into the world of original programming.

To court U.S. viewers, the Paris-based video sharing site will debut the five-episode original series Feedback Kitchen on Jan. 26, challenging the likes of AOL, Yahoo, Hulu, YouTube, Netflix and Amazon. Mario Batali is host of the 22-minute show that combines cooking and music. Each episode features Batali talking to a musical guest about the similarities between music and food. And then, Batali prepares a personalized meal for his guest in exchange for a musical performance.

The five musical guests include Patti Smith, Flea, The Edge, Josh Groban and Perry Farrell. Dailymotion will run a trailer for each episode of the series every day this week, leading to the Jan. 26 release of all five episodes.
