See the Chicago Blackhawks' stunning on-ice projection before Game 3

The Chicago Blackhawks opened their first home game of the NHL Playoffs at the United Center Sunday afternoon with an incredible new on-ice projection that celebrates the storied history of the franchise.

The five-minute video starts out with a nice voice over from Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews.

“For 82 games we grind, we battle, we will ourselves to win. To compete for a championship. It’s one goal. To win the Stanley Cup.”

After cool simulations of some classic arcade games, the first few bars of The Who’s “Baba O’Riley” kick in and the ice starts to flash pictures of current and former Blackhawks legends, setting the mood for what the team hopes is another strong run at the Cup.

The entire thing is a fun look back for any hockey fan but an absolute must-see if you’re pulling for the Blackhawks in the playoffs.
