British Prime Minister David Cameron confirms that his ally President Obama has called him "bro," but not all that often.

"It's normally Barack and David," Cameron said in an interview with CBS' Face The Nation. "But every now and again, there has been some other things thrown around ... 'bro' was one of them, but I took that in good heart."

Cameron sparked amusement on both sides of the Atlantic when, in an interview with a London newspaper, he said his relationship with Obama is do good that "sometimes he calls me 'bro.'"

Does Cameron have a special nickname for the president?

"I don't," Cameron told CBS' Bob Schieffer. "No -- if I did I probably wouldn't tell you."

Obama and Cameron met at the White House late last week.

Cameron also told Face The Nation that he has a strong relationship with Obama as they deal with challenges ranging from Afghanistan to terrorism to problems in the global economy.

"We've been thrown together in a lot of different situations," Cameron said. "And we don't always agree, but what I find is he has a very calm and reasonable, rational, sensible, level-headed way, of trying to address these great challenges. And it's been a pleasure to work with him."
