NEW YORK— As the unofficial  start to the holiday shopping season, Black Friday has been well known for its deals on electronics. This year is no exception, with plenty of deals to be found for those looking for new TVs, video games, tablets, wearables and more electronic goodies.

To help sort through the deals madness, here are some of the best tech deals that we could find for this Black Friday weekend.

Black Friday 2015

TVs:

The big theme of this year's Black Friday when it comes to TVs is 4K, the new high-resolution format that offers even sharper picture quality than HD. While not many networks broadcast in 4K today, it is likely the format of the not-so-distant future.

Prices on 4K TVs have dropped considerably over the last year as more manufacturers switch their displays from 1080p HD to 4K. Where last year prices ranged between $1,000 and $2,000, this year 4K TVs can be found for as little as $399.99 for a 43-inch LG 4K TV at Best Buy.

Most retailers will have deals on 4K TVs. Here are some of the best:

A 49-inch LG 4K Smart TV will be $499.99 at Target, while a 50-inch Vizio 4K Smart TV will be $498 at Sam's Club and $599.99 at Best Buy.

Should You Buy a 4K TV This Christmas?

In the 55-inch range, Walmart will have a 55-inch Hisense 4K Smart TV for $448. A 55-inch LG 4K Smart TV will be available for around for $700 at Walmart or Dell while Best Buy will be selling a 55-inch Vizio 4K TV for $699.99 ($250 off). Sam's Club has a 58-inch Vizio 4K Smart TV for $698.

Those looking for something even larger will find 60-inch Samsung LED 4K Smart TV for $799.99 at Best Buy and a 60-inch 4K Smart TV from Vizio for $799.99 at Dell (each a savings of $700).

For those who don't see the need for 4K just yet, there are also plenty of deals on HDTVs, including a 55-inch TCL Roku Smart TV for $348 ($201 off) at Amazon and Walmart, 32-inch TCL Roku Smart TV for $125 at Amazon and Walmart, and a 32-inch Westinghouse TV for $99.99 (a savings of $90) at Target.

One of the most notable TV deals: a 49-inch Toshiba LED 1080p HDTV for $149.99 (savings of $280) at Best Buy.

Streaming sticks and boxes

Roku's SE streaming box. Available for $25 on Black Friday

For those looking for an easy way to stream content like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and HBO to their TVs, a streaming stick or box is one of the best ways to go.

Amazon's Fire TV streaming Stick will be down to $25 at Amazon, Best Buy and others, while Roku's Roku SE box will also be down to $25 at places like Best Buy, Kohl's, Amazon, Walmart and others. Google's older Chromecast will also be discounted to $20 at Walmart.

For those looking to stream in 4K, Amazon's latest Fire TV box will be on sale for $74.99 at Best Buy and Staples.

As for Apple fans, the old Apple TV which runs an older operating system has dropped to $69. Not many deals are out for the company's latest model, but Target will be offering 25% off all Apple TV boxes, though quantities are limited.

The best Internet-TV streaming devices, from $20 to $200

Video games:

As with TVs, there are plenty of deals to be found for video games. Most retailers will have Xbox One and PlayStation 4 bundles available for as low as $299.99 ($50 off). Those are usually for the 500GB models, though heavy gamers may want to spring a little more for one with 1TB of storage (both consoles let users add hard drives later through USB to expand storage).

The Xbox One Gears of War bundle.

Those looking for a new system will find the best deals for the Xbox One. Target will be selling the 500GB Xbox One Gears of War bundle for $299.99 ($50 off), but it will also be throwing in a $60 gift card. For those heading out to a Best Buy store, you can get an Xbox One Lego Movie bundle and a 40-inch Samsung 1080p HDTV for $499.99.

Dell will offer a 500GB Xbox One bundle that includes Gears of War, Fallout 4 and an extra controller for $299.99 (a savings of $170).

For those looking for the new Xbox One Elite bundle, which offers a premium, customizable controller and faster 1TB hybrid hard drive, the Microsoft Store and GameStop will be selling it for $449 ($50 off).

PlayStation fans will find one of the best deals at Meijer (if there's one in your area), which will have the "Uncharted" bundle for the same $299.99 that's offered elsewhere but with an additional $50 Custom Coupon for use before Christmas. This deal is only good on Thanksgiving.

The Microsoft Store will have $30 off Xbox One wireless controllers, while Best Buy and Walmart will also be selling wireless controllers for the Xbox One and PS4 for around $40 ($20 savings). GameStop will also have a PS4 wireless controller and Kohl's an Xbox One wireless controller at around that same price.

On the Wii U front, the best bundle out there is the 32GB Wii U with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Splatoon for around $250 (regularly $299). Walmart, Target, Toys R Us and Meijer all will offer this deal with Meijer's offer throwing in a $30 gift card as well.

Games wise, Target will be throwing in a $15 gift card with Halo 5: Guardians, but most retailers aren't discounting new hot titles like that or Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront. That said, there are still some good deals out there.

Sports gamers will find titles like Madden 16, NBA 2K16 and FIFA 16 going for $27 at Walmart and $29.99 at Best Buy, with other hit games such as Metal Gear Solid V, Forza Motorsport 6 and Grand Theft Auto V being discounted to $34.99 ($25 off) at Best Buy.
