More charges brought in Holly Bobo murder case

Holly Bobo was reported missing in 2011.

NASHVILLE — Jennifer Nichols, special prosecutor in the Holly Bobo murder case, confirms that John Dylan Adams is the third person indicted on murder charges in the investigation.

Zachary Rye Adams and Jason Wayne Autry were indicted in 2014.

Each of the men has been charged with first-degree murder in the perpetration of a felony, especially aggravated kidnapping, first-degree murder in the perpetration of a felony, to wit: aggravated rape and premeditated first-degree murder.

John Dylan Adams previously was charged with rape.

John Dylan Adams is the younger brother of Zach Adams, who was indicted last year on charges of murder and kidnapping in the case. Autry also was indicted last year on murder and kidnapping charges.

Bobo, 20, was kidnapped from outside her Decatur County home in April 2011. Her partial remains were found in the woods in September, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

The TBI has not yet commented on the new charges.
