July's #avgeek gallery: 30 cool aviation photos

Two of four radial engines keep the Collings Foundation World War II-era B-24 heavy bomber aloft over Seattle on June 26, 2015.

It's time for our July batch of amazing airplane and aviation photos from around the globe.

We rolled out this monthly feature in January, and the "#avgeek gallery" is now a permanent fixture thanks to popular demand from our Today in the Sky readers.

As with the other editions, we turned to photographer and Today in the Sky contributor Jeremy Dwyer-Lindgren. He offered us the great shots (above) that we've pulled from the past month and a half. Click through that slideshow to see all 30 of the new photos.

Or scroll down to see aviation photos from previous months. If those aren't enough, you can also find more photos of the world's first Boeing 747 getting a makeover, an in-depth look at EVA's distinctive Hello Kitty jets, or a sneak peak of American Airlines' first Dreamliner on a test flight.

See a photo you like? Share your thoughts about this latest set of photos in the comments section below. And if you've got your own photos that you'd like to share with USA TODAY, you can submit those via the Your Take feature of our website. Enjoy!
