Between the Sheets by Cairo

You know, when you have one name to showcase your work, like Madonna or Cher, the bar is set that you will have a product that will stand out in the crowd. Between the Sheets by Cairo is pure hot, wicked fun to read. From the acknowledgment note with honest aplomb, I knew that I was in for some interesting stuff. Sure enough … in chapter one, I had to jump in with both feet because — wow! The story takes off. The erotic tone is set. Fasten the seat belts, the decadent journey of Marika and Marcel is not for the faint of heart.

While there is lots of kink, there's a great story told with a fast-talking, lyrical style that makes you want to light incense and have smoky Janet Jackson playing in the background. But really, the beauty is in these characters and how far they will go. And Cairo gives them free rein.

About Between the Sheets (courtesy of Strebor Books):

Sinful fantasies become sensually heated realities in this latest steamy tale by Cairo, in which one power couple takes voyeurism, intimacy, and open-mindedness to new sexual heights.

Marika and Marcel Franklin are a strikingly handsome, thirty-something married couple with voracious sex drives—professionals by day, uninhibited sexual beings at night. They are both equally attracted to the same sex as they are to each other, openly allowing one to indulge in surreptitious sexual encounters while the other watches and, more often than not, participates.

The rules are simple.

The other partner gets to choose who their mate's next sexual conquest will be. Safe sex is a must. And they never, ever, indulge in any extramarital rendezvous without the other's permission and presence.

From steamy exclusive sex clubs to frisky weekend getaways, there is no place these uninhibited lovers won't turn inside out for multiple orgasms and wicked, no-strings-attached one-night stands. But what happens when obsession seeps in and one clandestine sexual encounter turns into more than either could have ever expected?

Find out in Between the Sheets, told in alternating voices, as Marika and Marcel heat up their bedroom and singe the sheets, leaving nothing to the imagination.

Don't Stop Till You Get Enough by Chicki Brown.

Don't Stop Till You Get Enough by Chicki Brown

Chicki Brown's Don't Stop Till You Get Enough, book three in her Stafford Brothers series, is a story that I read without stopping until I'd gotten to the end. There's nothing more exciting than tossing the hero into hot — and really, really hot — water at the beginning of a story. The character, Greg Stafford, is written with a real touch that leaves the reader empathetic to his dilemma and mind-set. At the polar opposite, in profession and upbringing, is Rhani Drake, who sets the tone for the battle of wills.

With introspection, humor and cautionary lessons, the romantic journey never strays into boredom or the other state of meh. Chicki Brown provides a well-rounded story that is a fun, enjoyable read and a pleasure to recommend for the top of the to-be-read pile.
