The light at the end of the tunnel for the Houston Rockets is very dim at this point, but if they reach Game 6, they’ll have to force a Game 7 without Dwight Howard.

In the second quarter of Game 5 of the Western Conference finals against the Golden State Warriors, he and Andrew Bogut were mouthing off to each other and after some shoving, both were given technicals.

It seemed a little ticky-tack, but Howard hasn’t exactly been judicious with the fouls he’s given away. And seven technicals is Rasheed Wallace level.

It’s possible the technical will be turned over, but first the Rockets are going to have to make it out of Game 5. And if they don’t, Howard will be suspended for the first game of next season.
