I’m normally not secure in saying anything is the best or worst anything “ever.”

This is not one of those times. This is, without a doubt, the worst high-five attempt ever. By a country mile.

The absolute nadir of high-fives.

Blade Thomson of the Hurricanes tried to give his teammate five, whiffed, and slapped himself right in the face, resulting in the most poorly executed high-five since humans first learned to do it.

I know that’s harsh, but it was bad and he should feel bad. But he’s pretty good at rugby and his name is “Blade,” so at the very least he’s got those things going for him.
