Hey, do you want some juicy fourth-hand gossip, because, if so, we’ve got something for you! Vicky Duval, a 19-year-old American tennis player, tweeted the following message out to her 5,000 followers, suggesting (implying? confirming?) that Serena is engaged to rap megastar Drake.

Big, if true. “If” being the operative word. (See update at bottom. You won’t be shocked.)

Duval recently returned to tennis after a successful fight against Hodgkin’s lymphoma. On the court, she’s best known for upsetting former champion Sam Stosur at the 2013 U.S. Open before losing to another U.S. Open champ, Kim Clijsters, in the second round. Duval hit No. 87 in the rankings before receiving treatment for her illness. She’s now No. 646 in the world.

Drake has appeared at a number of Serena’s tournaments this year and was at her fashion show in New York last month, sitting next to Vogue editor Anna Wintour. Tough the two are considered an item, the notoriously private Serena has never confirmed it.

Our guess is that Duval is pulling a fast one or buying too much into tabloid gossip. If we’re wrong though, Kim Kardashian is going to be ticked there’s another rap power-couple on the block.

Update: Aaaaand, it was option B. In a number of since-deleted tweets (including the original above, which we captured before it was taken down), Duval linked to FTW’s post and sheepishly wrote that she’d been caught “spreading rumors” that she heard on the radio and in a tabloid report. No joke here, just too much trust in websites peddling specious information. Sorry Drizzena fans.
