A group of puppies predicted that the Michigan State Spartans will be the unlikely winners in the NCAA tournament during an adorable appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’. Fallon created a game where four bowls of food labeled clearly with each of the Final Four teams’ names were laid out in front of the seven dogs. Whichever team’s bowl got the most puppies was crowned the winner.
After sniffing around a bit, two dogs quickly chose the Wisconsin bowl. But one got tired of sharing and moved over to the Kentucky bowl. A third dog then meandered over, sniffed the Duke bowl and went for the Michigan State bowl. A fourth joined that dog with the Spartans to give Tom Izzo’s squad an early lead.
Finally, a fifth dog was brought over and after briefly entertaining the idea of eating out of the Duke-labeled bowl, joined the Michigan State bowl for the win.
