Steph Curry's exit interview with Steve Kerr consisted of one question and a hug

There’s always room to work on things over the offseason, but after winning a franchise’s first title in 40 years, Steve Kerr wasn’t all about the long to-do list. As captured in an excellent story from Sports Illustrated’s Lee Jenkins, after the Warriors captured the title they were celebrating in Cleveland when the team’s player development coach, Bruce Fraser, asked Kerr when he was heading home.

From SI:

“When are you going back to San Diego?” Fraser asked Kerr. “Saturday?”

“Maybe Friday,” Kerr replied. “Right after the parade.”

“Friday? What about the exit interviews?”

Kerr glanced at Steph. “What did you think of the year?”

“I thought it was incredible,” the point guard said.

“I thought it was incredible too. But you could really be a better shooter. I think you need to work on your shot this summer. Great year. Give me a hug.”
